How To Make An Appointment (including urgent)

We recommend My Health On Line which will enable you to book an appointment on line. There are appointments available most days via My Health On Line.

Routine same day appointments are available every morning for on line booking, or booking via telephone between 8.30-10.00am. When you book you will be asked to provide a brief description of the nature of your problem so that you can be allocated to the appropriate clinician. You have a right to see a particular healthcare professional if you wish, but you may have to wait longer for an appointment. Urgent cases will be seen the same day.

It may be appropriate for you to have a telephone consultation instead of an appointment with the doctor, please see the information tab on Telephone Consultations for further information.

Pre-bookable appointments are released on a Thursday morning for two weeks ahead. These appointments are predominantly in the afternoons, although on MHOL there is the facility to book an appointment in the morning as we allocate some morning times to this booking system.

Appointments may be made by telephoning:
Llantwit Major   01446 793444
Rhoose             01446 712701 (for Rhoose surgery)
St Athan           01446 751010 (for St Athan surgery)

In the event you are unable to attend an appointment please cancel it so it may be allocated to another patient. Patients arriving late may be required to make an alternative appointment. Appointments are available at 10-minute intervals; if you have several concerns that require attention you may need a double appointment i.e. 20 minutes.

Patients between the ages of 16-74 years who have not attended the surgery for 3 years, and patients aged over 75 years who have not attended for 12 months, may request a health check, with patients aged over 75 years offered a home visit if deemed appropriate by the Health Care Professional

If you would like a chaperone present during your consultation then please advise the receptionist when booking your appointment and when checking in.
